Every certified nursing facility in the United States is live, 14,693 of them, across 53 states and territories, from the federal CMS record. Assisted living is licensed separately by each state and we are working through them one at a time.
Nursing facilities are certified federally, so one authoritative record covers all fifty states. Assisted living has no federal register at all. Each state licenses it separately, under its own name - California calls it an RCFE, Pennsylvania a personal care home, North Carolina an adult care home - and each publishes it differently, or not at all.
We pull each state's own register and verify it before publishing. That is slower than scraping, and it is the reason the data is trustworthy. Want your state next? Tell us where you are looking and we will prioritise by demand.
We prioritise assisted living by how many families ask for a state. No account, no spam. Just a state and an email if you want to know when it is ready.
